Is EdenMountain a bank?
EdenMountain is not a bank. EdenMountain provides its users with a marketplace where they can sell and buy certain assets. The assets are in the ownership of the seller until a purchase transaction is successfully completed on the platform, after which the purchased asset becomes the ownership of the buyer. While EdenMountain oversees the marketplace and ensures orderly transactions, EdenMountain doesn't own all or any part of the assets.
Can anyone use the EdenMountain marketplace?
Anyone can browse the public listings on the marketplace, but only verified registered members can list, sell, and buy assets. Registration is free and open to everyone, although it does require authentication to protect the integrity of the platform and provide reassurance to all users that sellers and buyers are authentic, credible, and trustworthy.

How secure is the EdenMountain platform?
Security of the platform is very important to us. EdenMountain has in place member authentication processes to verify the identity and credibility of prospective sellers and buyers on the platform and regulated third-party payment services process transactions.
How does EdenMountain ensure user privacy and data security?
We comply with our obligations under the UK and EU GDPR (a leading framework for data protection and data privacy) and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to securely process personal data. Please refer to our for more information.
Are EdenMountain members' profiles public?
Sellers' profiles and assets listings are publicly viewable on the platform. Buyers’ profiles are not viewable to the public nor the sellers. A buyer’s profile is only viewable on the platform (a) to a seller if that seller receives an offer from that buyer that is lower than the listed asking price, (b) to a seller after the buyer purchases the listed asset, and/or (c) to all users when that buyer chooses to re-list the asset they purchased for sale on the platform, effectively becoming a seller themselves.
How does EdenMountain handle information transparency?
Detailed information about listed assets, sellers' profiles and company information is readily available, empowering buyers with the information they need to make well-informed decisions. We also comply with our transparency obligations under the UK and EU GDPR (a leading framework for data protection and data privacy) – please refer to our for more information.
What happens if a listing is inaccurate?
We take misrepresentation seriously. If an asset doesn't meet the description provided in the seller's listing, it will be removed immediately, and the seller will be considered in breach of their agreement with us. Buyers are also protected under the standard-form and non-negotiable English law terms and conditions between the buyer and the seller regarding the grant of the asset in question, which must be entered into before any transactions can be completed on the platform.

Is EdenMountain available in my region?
EdenMountain is available worldwide, connecting sellers with buyers in different territories that are interested in acquiring certain assets and opening new avenues for development, growth, and expansion.
Is my business eligible to sell assets on EdenMountain?
If you own a business, you will own and control the type of assets that EdenMountain is catering for, and (provided that you pass the member authentication process) you can sell those assets on EdenMountain. We connect businesses of all sizes, in all industries and sectors, with other businesses and interested individuals from every corner of the globe. Whether you're a small local business or a multinational corporation, EdenMountain offers a level playing field where opportunities are plentiful.
What if I don't have any assets to sell?
If you own a business, you have assets! While we can't give you too many details just yet, our marketplace deals in certain assets that every business has but are frequently unused. to be among the first to find out how EdenMountain can help you further monetise your assets.
Are there any costs involved?
The platform is free to join. Sellers can list their assets for free and buyers can browse available listings for free too. The only cost involved is a transaction fee that will be payable by sellers to EdenMountain upon successful sale of assets to buyers.
What if the seller and buyer don't agree to the terms of the contract?
EdenMountain requires prospective sellers and buyers to agree to our standard-form and non-negotiable English law contracts before any transaction can take place. Therefore, if they do not agree to these terms, they cannot list, sell or buy any assets on EdenMountain's platform.
Will I need to hire a lawyer?
You can if you wish, but it is not required. To minimise your time and cost investments, we have created a suite of standard-form English law contracts which sellers and buyers are required to agree to before transactions can happen. This approach offers transparency and consistency of terms across all transactions and means that sellers and buyers' respective rights and obligations are clear from the outset. This allows sellers and buyers to enjoy a friction-free experience and an easy smooth process of transacting on the platform. Saving time and money!
Do I need a finance background to do this?
No, our user-friendly interface simplifies the process for all users, regardless of financial expertise. We aim to reduce transaction complexities and save valuable time. We use standard-form English law contracts which sellers and buyers are required to agree to before transactions can be entered into, eliminating the need to involve lawyers or have extensive and time-consuming negotiations. Saving time and money!
