Hossam Shobokshi
Founder & Chairman
Founder, chairman, and majority shareholder of EdenMountain, Hossam is also Chairman of Alef United Holdings, an investment holding firm that invests in private and public opportunities. He is also the founder of Ouswah Capital, an investment management company based in Saudi Arabia, an Independent Non-Executive Director at JP Morgan Saudi Arabia since 2022, and an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Middle East Venture Partners. From 2014 to 2022, Hossam was the founding partner and Chairman of Saray Capital, focusing on listed equities and commercial real estate. Previously, he was Managing Director and Regional Head of MENA for Private Equity at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai.
Stephanie Akkaoui Hughes

Seasoned entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience in starting and building companies, Stephanie is also a distinguished author, public speaker, and astute investor. She now serves as the co-founder and CEO of EdenMountain, showcasing her exceptional leadership and proven track record in business innovation. Trained as an architect and urban planner, Stephanie embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 26 when she founded her first startup. With over two decades of expertise, she has mastered the business growth journey from startup to profitability.
Khalid Shobokshi
Director
Khalid began his career as a consultant at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co), working on projects across healthcare, industrial, & public transportation sectors. In 2017, he joined SEDCO Capital's global private equity team, where he later managed the developed markets portfolio, focusing on the US & Europe. In 2023, Khalid transitioned to Alkhabeer Capital, where he managed their regional Industrial Private Equity Fund.
Harry Garthwaite
Sales and Marketing Manager
Sales and Marketing Manager at EdenMountain, Harry brings a blend of passion, leadership, and expertise to the team. Specialising in go-to-market strategies, marketing initiatives, and data-driven business development, Harry has a proven track record of scaling operations to exceed targets and spearheading strategic initiatives on a global scale. Harry's expertise includes successfully assisting ticketbro's expansion to Brazil and the UK in 2023, a tech startup from Munich, Germany. Harry graduated with distinction and first-class honours in both his MSc and BA from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

Daniel Wild
Board Member
Entrepreneur and angel investor, Daniel heads the venture capital firm Tiburon, boasting 150+ pre-seed and seed investments. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairman of Frankfurt-listed VC Mountain Alliance AG. Renowned as a business angel, his successes with Tiburon include Shirtinator, Xing, Lokalisten, and Trivago. He is also the founder of getmobile AG which turned into Ecommerce Alliance AG and eventually Mountain Alliance AG, achieving multiple exits annually. In 2023, he launched Tiburon Atlantic, a new pre-seed VC fund.
Dr. George Mackintosh
Board Member
George's career spans Ford, Cable & Wireless, CASE, and Motorola. He managed Darome UK and founded Geoconference. George rolled up UK conference call businesses under Meeting Management and sold them to MeetingZone. Additionally, he acquired a Colorado software business, grew Eggplant, and sold it to Keysight Technologies. Currently residing in Edinburgh, George is an investor in technology and food ventures. He is the visionary behind Papple Steading and serves as a trustee of the Botanics Foundation and patron of the National Trust of Scotland.
Daniel Zhang
Board Member
Daniel is a seasoned management consultant with experience at McKinsey & Bain. He brings extensive global cross-industrial experience. As Teqnion's Director of M&A, he champions long-term value creation. With prior roles as Interim CFO at Teqnion and Director of Strategy and Business Development at Textilia, Daniel also serves as a board member and advisor in various organizations. He holds a B.Sc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Rabih Khoury

As Managing Partner & Chief Exit Officer with Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), one of the leading late-stage Technology VC asset managers in MENA, Rabih is experienced in venture capital, private equity and advisory, having executed more than US$5 billion in transactions and raised more than US$2 billion in capital. Previously, Rabih served as the CEO of Dubai International Capital’s Emerging Markets Group, overseeing the investment portfolio in MENA, Turkey, Asia, and Latin America. Rabih was also a Founding Member of the Media & Telecom M&A Group at Banc of America Securities in New York. In addition, Rabih was a Senior Engineering Manager with URS Corporation in San Francisco.
Sunil Parthasarathy

Head of Research at Ouswah Capital, Mr. Parthasarathy excels in equity analysis & investment strategies. Formerly at GW&K, Trilogy Global Advisors, & Burgundy Asset Management, he holds an MBA from Columbia (& was in the Value Investment Program), has a CFA, & holds 3 US technology patents. With experience from Cisco & degrees from UCSB & IIT Madras, he blends analytical acumen with methodical investment approaches.
