Hossam Shobokshi
Founder & Chairman
Founder, chairman, and majority shareholder of EdenMountain, Hossam is also Chairman of Alef United Holdings, an investment holding firm that invests in private and public opportunities. He is also the founder of Ouswah Capital, an investment management company based in Saudi Arabia, an Independent Non-Executive Director at JP Morgan Saudi Arabia since 2022, and an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Middle East Venture Partners. From 2014 to 2022, Hossam was the founding partner and Chairman of Saray Capital, focusing on listed equities and commercial real estate. Previously, he was Managing Director and Regional Head of MENA for Private Equity at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai.
Owais Al Zahed
CTO & Co-Founder
Owais Al Zahed is the CTO & Co-Founder of EdenMountain, where he plays a key role in shaping the company’s vision and driving its technical and strategic direction. With a strong foundation in software engineering and a track record of building scalable, user-centric platforms, Owais brings hands-on leadership to the development of EdenMountain’s infrastructure. His experience includes delivering solutions for leading law firms in the U.S., and his steady, problem-solving mindset supports the platform’s growth and adaptability. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Istanbul Kültür University.
Aljoharah AlArnous
CEO & Co-Founder
Aljoharah AlArnous is the CEO & Co-Founder of EdenMountain, where she leads partnerships, growth strategy, and market positioning. As a young Saudi leader, she has been actively involved in driving initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aligned with Vision 2030, including the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Saudi EXIM Bank, where she led and contributed to strategic, cross-sector initiatives supporting national growth. With a background in Architectural Engineering and a strong interest in FinTech, Aljoharah combines entrepreneurial thinking with a structured, analytical mindset to drive value creation and long-term growth. She brings a strong global outlook and cross-cultural agility, advancing EdenMountain’s expansion through strategic relationships and execution-focused leadership.

Daniel Wild
Board Member
Entrepreneur and angel investor, Daniel heads the venture capital firm Tiburon, boasting 150+ pre-seed and seed investments. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairman of Frankfurt-listed VC Mountain Alliance AG. Renowned as a business angel, his successes with Tiburon include Shirtinator, Xing, Lokalisten, and Trivago. He is also the founder of getmobile AG which turned into Ecommerce Alliance AG and eventually Mountain Alliance AG, achieving multiple exits annually. In 2023, he launched Tiburon Atlantic, a new pre-seed VC fund.
Daniel Zhang
Board Member
Daniel is a seasoned management consultant with experience at McKinsey & Bain. He brings extensive global cross-industrial experience. As Teqnion's Director of M&A, he champions long-term value creation. With prior roles as Interim CFO at Teqnion and Director of Strategy and Business Development at Textilia, Daniel also serves as a board member and advisor in various organizations. He holds a B.Sc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Rabih Khoury
Board Member
As Managing Partner & Chief Exit Officer with Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), one of the leading late-stage Technology VC asset managers in MENA, Rabih is experienced in venture capital, private equity and advisory, having executed more than US$5 billion in transactions and raised more than US$2 billion in capital. Previously, Rabih served as the CEO of Dubai International Capital’s Emerging Markets Group, overseeing the investment portfolio in MENA, Turkey, Asia, and Latin America. Rabih was also a Founding Member of the Media & Telecom M&A Group at Banc of America Securities in New York. In addition, Rabih was a Senior Engineering Manager with URS Corporation in San Francisco.
Mothanna Gharaibeh
Board Member
Mothanna is a seasoned leader in digital transformation, public policy, and private-sector innovation. He previously served as Jordan’s Minister of Investment, and before that as Minister of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship, where he led major national reforms in digital services, cybersecurity, and tech ecosystem growth. Prior to government, he led Ericsson’s operations in Jordan and later founded The Fifth Advisory, advising institutions across the Middle East. Mothanna also serves on the board of the Innovative Startups & SMEs Fund (ISSF), supporting early-stage companies in Jordan.
Abdullah AlRomaih
Board Member
Abdullah AlRomaih is a seasoned Saudi business leader, industrial executive, and investor. He serves as CEO and Chairman of Jazeera Paints, where he helped lead the company to market leadership in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. His expertise spans innovation, quality management, and scaling market-leading companies. Beyond Jazeera Paints, Abdullah is active in entrepreneurship and private-sector development, including through his role as a private-sector board member of Monsha’at, Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority. He is also an active early-stage technology investor, with many successful investments such as Flyin, which he founded and exited to a global leader in the field.
