Yes, it is the buyer's responsibility to conduct due diligence on the businesses and the ENOR listings before buying. EdenMountain's authentication process, managed by Comply Cube, covers Seller identity verification, AML, KYB, and KYC checks but does not verify the content of the ENOR listings. Buyers are responsible to verify all information provided above. For example, to verify a Business's financial information, we advise Buyers to check the record of the applicable Chamber of Commerce or other equivalent authority. A link to such authorities is provided by the business in the "Financials'' section above, if applicable. While EdenMountain operates checks and searches to verify the authenticity of Sellers and Buyers (including a) Know Your Customer (KYC), b) Know Your Business (KYB); and c) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks) at the time of registration to the Platform, EdenMountain has no control over, and does not guarantee the existence, quality or legality of: the ENOR(s) advertised for sale on the Platform; the truth or accuracy of Platform users' content, listings, provided information or feedback; the ability of the Buyer to pay for the ENOR; or that a Buyer or Seller will actually complete a Transaction. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to conduct due diligence on the businesses and the ENOR listings before buying.

We take misrepresentation seriously. If an ENOR doesn't meet the description provided in the Seller's listing, it will be removed immediately, and the seller will be considered in breach of their agreement with us. Buyers are also protected under the standard-form and non-negotiable English law terms and conditions between the Buyer and the Seller, which must be agreed to before any transactions can be completed on the platform.
